The MimioMobile™ application enhances the educational experience in classrooms utilizing MimioStudio™ software by facilitating collaborative learning and ongoing formative assessment through mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones. This application allows every student with a mobile device to actively engage with the lesson displayed on the interactive whiteboard, fostering a dynamic collaborative learning environment.

The implementation of collaborative learning and formative assessment has become more accessible and cost-effective for educational institutions. By acquiring an annual MimioMobile license for the teacher’s classroom computer or laptop, all mobile devices within the classroom can download the app at no additional cost.

Teachers benefit from the MimioMobile application by gaining the ability to control their interactive whiteboard and present lessons from anywhere within the classroom. They can seamlessly transfer control to any student equipped with a mobile device running the free MimioMobile app. The Collaborate feature of MimioStudio software empowers students to engage interactively in small groups using their mobile devices, with their collective work showcased on the interactive whiteboard across various collaborative spaces. Furthermore, the application serves as a tool for students to participate in multiple choice and open-response assessments.

For current users of MimioStudio software who already possess MimioPad™ wireless pen tablets, it is noteworthy that they can utilize iPads and iPhones alongside the MimioMobile app simultaneously. Additionally, MimioVote™ assessment users can also integrate their mobile devices with the MimioMobile app for enhanced assessment capabilities.
